As you can see, I have a new layout. It's sort of "fall-like" since we've now rolled over into November.
Today started day #1 of my workout day for the month of November. My cousin, Sabrina, my boyfriend Chad & I have all started to commit ourselves to working out at least 3 days per week. My goal is to lose 15 lbs and get in better shape. Chad's goal is to lose 20 lbs in prep for the military. Sabrina's goal is to lose weight, of course. So, I will try to blog about our events regularly. [Please forgive me if I don't though.] Tonight, I did a lot of weight lifts and walked on the treadmill for a while. I want to work on my muscles more than anything. We plan on working out tomorrow night as well and I want to try to work on my abs. We'll see how that goes.
It is 13 more days until the Motion City Soundtrack concert in Atlanta, GA. [Look for pictures and a blog about that in the future.]
I'm slowly working on brushing up on my algebra in prep for the ACT I will be taking in February. Math isn't my strong point so I need all the help I can get. I'm using this website to help. If you need math help, this guy rocks!
Also, in my English class, I'm having to read Religio Medici by Sir Thomas Browne. Obviously, Browne rights about things concerning religion; things that I'm not interested in. So, needless to say, I'm having a hard time making it through the short excerpts we are required to read. Religion has never been an interest of mine. Especially when people are promoting it. It bores me to the point of wanting to stick hot needles in my eyeballs. [Yes, I'm that extreme!] So, pray for me as I trudge through this wonderful piece of literature our teacher thinks is so stimulating.
